SESSION 3: Managing Depression Requires a Team

SESSION OVERVIEW: The evidence for an assertive approach to depression management is integrated primary care. The combination of the skills of the primary care provider and the behavioral health provider, along with the rest of the primary care team are needed to support not only medication management but key lifestyle changes that can improve depression outcomes. This session will focus on evidence-based management of depression in primary care, use of screening tools for for assessment and clinical care, and workflows to support evidence-based care.
